"I blew out my flip-flop, stepped on a pop top..." is the way Jimmy Buffett begins it on his way to Margaritaville. I don't feel like this is a trip to Margaritaville. And right now I cannot find some good, sturdy, warm winter shoes and that is killing me! ARRrrrgghhh!! No new fall fashions that I can pass off without working to find them. This is my rhetorical analysis of finding a great thing to come out of this semester other than its end. Otherwise I have ruined a few pairs of flip flops and appeared highly unfashionable this fall semester.
Nearly...one semester down.

If you "blew out" your flip flops, maybe it was because you were running so fast to do EVERYTHING this semester? Hm?
I bought a great pair of "travel" winter boots at Land's End last year. Waterproof (hum - or resistent maybe - but they didn't leak in the Alps, so I bet they'd be okay!), sturdy, and sorta cute.
